For those who enjoy old buildings and architectural variety, an examination of the City of Bath is a memorable experience.

Due to the violence and destruction of the French and Indian wars, almost no buildings in Bath predate the 1750’s. Yet, the architectural splendor of the City flourished alongside the boat-building masters of the 19th Century.  The sea trade and the world-traveling seafarers brought wealth and new ideas to Bath.   Architectural variety and quality were among the benefits derived from this heritage.
